| MISSION STATEMENT |
| |
| Tyndale Christian School is an affordable, independent Christian school, which seeks to assist parents of all denominations in training their children spiritually, academically, socially and physically by means of God glorifying education. |
| |
| “Train up a child in the way that he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it” |
| |
| We at Tyn dale Christian School aim to assist parents in the nurture and training of their children. If together we achieve our aims it will only be because of God's indespensable blessing on our school. Please pray with us to this end. |

OUR AIM: |
| |
| The aim of Tyndale Christian School is to provide the children of Christian parents with an education that glorifies God in all aspects. |
| |
| Academically, the children are taught that God is the creator of all things and should be glorified. |
| |
| Socially, they learn how to relate to each other and to authority in a Godly manner. Conflict resolution is taught according to the principles laid down in the Bible. |
| |
| Spiritually: As our teachers are all committed Christians, the children have the privilege of hearing about God's way of Salvation. The school does not present any specific denomination. The aim of the school is to teach only what is found in the Bible. |
| |
| Sport is included in the curriculum, and offered as an extra-mural activity. |
| |
| |
| STATEMENT OF FAITH: |
| |
| 1. |
The sole authority for the faith and practice of the School is the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. |
| |
|
| 2. |
The Bible is the complete word of God, plenary inspired, and the autographs of the 66 books of the two testaments were verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit and therefore entirely free from error; and the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice and the true basis of Christian union. |
| |
|
| 3. |
There is one God, Creator of all, holy sovereign, eternal, existing in three equal Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. |
| |
|
| 4. |
We believe in the absolute and essential deity of Jesus Christ, in His eternal existence with the Father in pre incarnate glory, in His virgin birth, true humanity, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, triumphant ascension, mediatorial ministry and personal and visible return. |
| |
|
| 5. |
We believe in the absolute and essential deity and personality of the Holy Spirit who glorifies Christ, who convinces of sin, of righteousness, and of judgement, who regenerates, sanctifies, illuminates, comforts and abides in all who are savingly united to Christ. |
| |
|
| 6. |
We believe that Satan exists as an evil personality, the originator of sin, the arch-enemy of God and man. |
| |
|
| 7. |
We believe that man was divinely created in the image of God; that he sinned, becoming guilty before God, resulting in total depravity, thereby incurring physical and spiritual death. |
| |
|
| 8. |
We believe that none but those who exercise repentance unto God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved, and that salvation is the sovereign work of God; that by the appointment of the Father, Christ voluntarily suffered a vicarious expiatory and propitiatory death, procuring reconciliation, and purchasing an ever-lasting inheritance in the Kingdom of Heaven for all those whom the Father had chosen to give unto Him. Those thus saved will give a credible profession of faith evidenced by holy living. |
| |
|
| 9. |
We believe in the personal, bodily and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the resurrection of the just and the unjust; in the eternal blessedness of the redeemed and in the judgement and conscious, eternal punishment of the wicked.
